Refund and Returns (“AS”) sells items directly to consumers (usually printed books and CD-ROMs) and items from various third-party partners. Due to the nature of genealogical and historical materials, all sales fulfilled by AS are final and may not be returned for refund except as noted below:

  • Shipping Errors must be reported within 10 days of the estimated delivery date to you;
  • Purchases of defective or damaged items may be returned within 30 days of receipt and with prior approval from AS. Many of the AS products are used and many show some wear;
  • To request a refund, please email us using our Contact us form.
For products purchased from our partners, please refer to their return policies.

If your refund request is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

AS may have one copy of an item. If it is not possible to exchange an item, AS will refund your purchase.
